The Hall Residence
The exterior of this house was practically nonexistent as you can see. They also wanted to add a front porch with a covering and have a walkway from the garage to the door.
The roofline was tricky as we had to have it tall enough at the door and along the walkway for walking under it but it had to go under the upstairs window and then line up with the upper porch.
The stone on the lower portion was determined by using 36" from the floor at the doorway and then creating a straight line all the way across. This was perfect as it went perfectly above the lower windows. We then just needed to frame out the upper windows to complete the picture.
It was decided to make the columns white instead of wrapping the lower portion of them in stone to keep the budget on track.
